8. She Dated CM Punk
Paul Heyman was a major proponent of CM Punk's from the first time they worked together, and when Punk was signed to a WWE developmental deal in 2005, he became one of the top stars of Heyman's OVW. He would become a triple crown champion in the territory before being called up to the new ECW in 2006.
While Punk was in OVW, so was Maria, and the pair soon started dating. Kanellis was a relative unknown at the time, but former ROH Champion Punk was a major Internet darling, so news of their relationship quickly spread - especially since the couple were often spotted together and pictures of them were regularly posted online.
The pair split in 2007. Kanellis would later praise Punk in interviews and talk about how even during his OVW days, it was clear that he was one of the most talented guys in the locker room and headed for great things.
