3. He Trained With A Young Triple H
Perry Saturn (along with Eliminators partner John Kronus) trained at the school of the legendary Walter 'Killer' Kowalski. The late WWE Hall of Fame had a hand in the training of a rather impressive list of superstars, including Chyna, Damien Sandow and Kofi Kingston. Two of his earliest students were Saturn and current WWE COO Triple H.
The Game and Pez were learning how to take bumps with each other back in the early 90s and frequently teamed up and wrestled one another on independent cards. When asked about his impressions of Triple H back then, Saturn remarked that he was a big, strong kid with a great look and that it was no surprise he soon made it to WCW.
The two would cross paths again in WWE when Perry made the jump in early 2000. Of course, by this time The Cerebral Assassin was a fully-fledged main eventer and WWE Champion, a far cry from the blonde mullet-sporting Terra Ryzing of old.
Years later, Saturn became co-head trainer of ECW's House of Hardcore wrestling school and, in 2013, Pez was a guest trainer for a week at the WWE Performance Center. There are certainly worse people to be learning superkicks and Northern Lights suplexes from.
