10 Things You Didn't Know About Road Warrior Animal

2. Why He Didn't Envy His Brother's Job

Most people reading this will know that Animal was the brother of old WWE authority figure John "People Power" Laurinaitis. What they might not know is that the LOD legend scratched his head with amazement when he thought about all the work Johnny had to get through on show days.

During an interview with Cult Of Whatever in 2012, Animal said he wouldn't want to do his sibling's job "for anything in the world". He wasn't talking about the on screen stuff; John doubled up as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations for years in WWE, and he still had to juggle that gig with the heel authority role.

Animal couldn't fathom it.

He described John's dual-role as being a heel to the boys and to the fans. That was a thankless task, one that the Road Warrior wanted no part of. If he was ever going to make a WWE comeback, then he wanted to be cheered.
