When he wasn't pulling Verne Gagne's trousers and knickers down, Animal was getting drunk in bars on the road and giving Vince McMahon his tag-team's finishing move. Oh yes, anyone who has read Bret Hart's stunning autobiography may have heard this one.

It's too good not to include here for those who might not know what happened.

During a typically-gruelling tour in the early-90s, McMahon decided to join the troops for some light beverages in San Antonio. Mid-evening, Hulk Hogan looked over at Animal, gave him a thumbs up and helped clear the way for he and Hawk to hit the Doomsday Device on a helpless Vince.

Hart noted in his memoirs that it was quite the scene, and Animal told Sports Illustrated that the WWF stars were thrown out of the building shortly after the bump. It's likely that Vince thought twice the next time someone suggested drinks with the boys.
