10 Things You Didn't Know About Road Warrior Animal

6. He Viewed WWE's Hawk Angle As Disrespectful

Years later, Animal wanted to knock Vince's block off again.

He told The Hannibal TV that he found it unbelievably difficult to keep quiet when the WWF booked his partner Hawk to have some on screen substance abuse problems. Animal knew what his friend was going through in real life, and thought it was a huge slap in the face to put that on TV.

Hawk didn't complain nearly as much as Animal, which is incredible to think. He wanted to stay in the promotion's good graces, and told Animal that things would probably blow over and they'd be back to their best soon enough. Obviously, that never really happened, and that only made Animal angrier.

He resented the angle more and more as the years rolled on. By 2017's shoot with Hannibal, he was visibly disgusted when recalling what went down and the fact that he went along with things without speaking up or shooting it down.
