Ever since Seth Rollins struck Roman Reigns with a chair and disbanded The Shield, fans have wanted to see a triple threat match between the three former members. Dean Ambrose has wrestled Rollins, Rollins has wrestled Reigns, and Reigns has wrestled Ambrose, but fans have yet to see the holy grail of Shield singles bouts. It's tentative scheduled for Battleground, but Reigns's suspension puts that up in the air.

Even if the match doesn't happen, fans can take comfort in knowing that it's already happened... in Florida Championship Wrestling.

After retiring from football, Reigns signed a developmental deal with WWE and began performing as Roman Leakee, eventually shortened to just Leakee. Awful names aside, Reigns emerged as a contender to the FCW Heavyweight Championship, but the title shot would only go to the winner of a three way bout between him and two other prospects - Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose.

The match only went about ten minutes, so it wasn't the classic fans are hoping to see in the future, but Reigns scored the win, pinning Ambrose after a spinning bulldog. He was unable to capture the FCW Title in his subsequent shot, however.
