3. He Spent Five Years In WWE Developmental
Ryback may come under a lot of criticism, but nobody can accuse the big guy of failing to pay his dues. He spent five years wrestling for the WWE's various developmental territories, moving from Deep South Wrestling to OVW, before transitioning to FCW and earning a spot on the first season of NXT. Although he made his debut (under the Skip Sheffield persona) as part of the Wade Barrett-led Nexus invasion of 2010, Ryback has actually been affiliated with the WWE for over a decade now. His initial appearance on Tough Enough - as a largely untrained bodybuilder - was over a decade ago! It's been a long, often difficult road for the current Intercontinental Champion, but one which has seen him become one of the most familiar faces on the roster.
