Then wrestling under the slightly longer (and infinitely more comical) name of Sheamus O'Shaunessy, the Irishman made for an equally intimidating partner to the hulking Ryback. Unfortunately the team never won gold, and didn't even last very long, as Sheamus was soon called up to the main roster and entered into a feud with Goldust on the ECW brand. Following the team's breakup, Ryback found his gimmick scrapped, and was rebranded as a cowboy named Skip Sheffield - a name many WWE will be familiar with as a member of the original Nexus stable.
