When it comes to finishing moves, Scott Hall's patented Diamond Death Drop/Razor's Edge/Outsider's Edge was famously one of the most protected finishers in wrestling history.

Some claim that Hall's signature maneuverer was never kicked out of. In reality, there was one man who managed to take the Edge and get his shoulders up before the referee could count three. That man was Crush.

Taking place on the 6 June 1993 episode of WWF All-American Wrestling, the villainous Razor Ramon did battle with midcard babyface powerhouse Crush. At this point in time, the real-life Brian Adams had left behind his Demolition days and resurfaced as a Hawaiian with a penchant for wearing amazingly bright colours.

The then-WWF clearly thought Crush had the potential to possibly be a main event act down the line, and thus Adams was relatively protected throughout 1992 and into '93. Vince McMahon's company also realised that Razor Ramon was a top star, and thus Crush vs. Razor ended in a double countout finish.

Prior to that countout, though, the Bad Guy hit the Razor's Edge on Crush. With Chico taking a few seconds to taunt the crowd after landing this move, that allowed his opponent enough of a breather to kick out at two when Ramon eventually went for the pin.
