Across his 26-year career, Scott Hall won plentiful championships and had countless unsuccessful shots at adding further gold to his collection. Somewhat bizarrely, Hall only ever had one solitary chance to capture the WWF Championship.

During his first run with Vince McMahon's promotion, Scott - as Razor Ramon - was with the company for four years, was the first person to ever win the Intercontinental Title on four different occasions, and would regularly mix it up with tops stars of the day like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Sycho Sid, Yokozuna and Randy Savage; all names who have World Titles on their résumé.

The point being, Razor was a big deal and positioned like a top guy. Despite being in the mix with such names, though, the only crack the Bad Guy got at the then-WWF's biggest prize came at the 1993 Royal Rumble. There, Ramon was unsuccessful in challenging for Hart's WWF Title in what was a phenomenal 18-minute encounter.

Hall's first shot at a World Championship came back during his AWA days, receiving a chance to dethrone Nick Bockwinkel in 1986. HIs famed return to WCW in 1996 also heralded shots at the company's top title, with Scott getting to tangle with Sting, Goldberg, Jeff Jarrett, and Sid Vicious for the chance to win his first World Championship. He would also face Ron Killings for the NWA World Championship in TNA in 2002.
