4. He Actually Was A Guardian Angel

When Traylor made his WCW debut in 1993 as "The Boss", the WWF legal team quickly filed a complaint that the gimmick too similar to the original "Big Boss Man" character and ordered the character to be changed. Thus, The Guardian Angel was born. For those unfamiliar with The Guardian Angels, they are a legit group of volunteers in the USA who assist local law enforcement by providing neighbourhood protection, crime prevention programs, and even perform citizen's arrests when necessary. In a show of true class, rather than simply adopt the name as a gimmick, Traylor insisted on going through the GA training program to become an actual Guardian Angel, and was inducted as a member of the group in 1994.
