Yes, a decade later.

The Dynamite Kid's full time ring career all but screeched to a halt in 1991. Looking at records of his matches makes for fascinating reading, not least because it shows how limited he was becoming physically. That's why Kid worked just 17 more matches from 1991 until he finally called it a day in 1996 following Michinoku Pro's Third Anniversary show on 10 October that year.

Oddly, his six-man tag match was billed as a "Legends Of High-Flying" affair, and had Dynamite teaming with Dos Caras and Kuniaki Kobayashi to take on The Great Sasuke, Mil Mascaras and Tiger Mask. It was reportedly a sorry spectacle. Kid's once-proud muscle-bound frame had disappeared, and he struggled to do anything during the match.

A few years later during an interview with Power Slam, he alluded to the fact it was a mistake to attempt a comeback, and remarked he could never come to terms with his physical limitations. That's why, even though it was ill-advised, he worked in '96.
