The Iron Sheik is no stranger to offensive comments. Long before he had a Twitter account and at the beginning of Steve Corino's career The Sheik cut a highly incendiary promo against a Jewish crowd. Steve Corino tells of this cringe-worthy incident that occured early in his career. At this smaller show Sheik was asked to cut a promo to garner heat. Corino explains that the crowd of 400 was all Jewish and apparently Sheik knew that. He gave them everything he had. The Sheik went through a slew of jaw-dropping insults by calling everyone in attendance cheap and that Hollywood was run the by the Jews. The most insane comments came when he told them how he wished that World War II had ended differently for them and that Adolf Hitler was a great leader. Corino explains that he and three other wrestlers who witnessed the promo all reacted with their collective jaws dropped. The promo played for those in attendance immediately before The Sheik would make his way to the ring.
