A popular tag team that was in WWE opposite of The Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkoff was The Killer Bees. B. Brian Blair was one half of that duo and he's been engaged in a bitter war of the words with Sheik for years. Their rivalry became physical at a Roast that was held in honor of The Sheik. He was thanking everyone for the event when he turned his attention to Blair who was standing a few spots away from him. Sheik was taunting Blair by saying that he wasn't in the same class as him or Bob Backlund. Blair tried to be the bigger man and apologize to him. As Blair went in to shake his hand Sheik smacked him hard across his face. If anyone doubted the authenticity of the blow, Blair has said this: "That wasn't a work. He slapped me.
