10 Things You Didn't Know About WCW's Nitro Grill Restaurant

2. The Lore Was Surprisingly Deep

Let's end with a few more positive entries.

Anyone who was a hardcore WCW fan must've adored the way Nitro Grill was laid out. There were company nods everywhere, and not only on the menu. The lore was shockingly abundant inside the restaurant. Plaques adorned the walls and framed items like DDP's old manager ring jacket and Sting's baseball bat were on show.

Some of the bars were themed around pay-per-view events too. The Bash At The Beach bar had booths that were made to look like shark teeth, and the Road Wild one had a biker theme that fit nicely. Everything was geared around ensuring that those who genuinely liked WCW's product would feel right at home.

That's not the say there weren't some odd quirks. One plaque on the wall was dedicated to the fake nWo Sting, not the real deal, and the 'Main Event Floor' (which was designed to look like an arena) came out looking more like a dingy ball room.

Still, anyone fond of WCW would've had a blast there.
