It's almost poetic that WCW's old unit at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino resort was gobbled up by Dick's.

Specifically, the Dick's Last Resort chain. They were the ones who bought over the lease for the business and encouraged visitors to "Eat. Drink. Laugh". Rumours they were still showing episodes of Monday Nitro so people would do the latter are unsubstantiated.

Those not in the know might not erm...know that Dick's Last Resort encourages staff to be purposefully obnoxious to customers and focuses on fun. Ribbing the consumer is all part of the gag, but it's certainly an acquired taste not everyone would be into. Being called a jack ass for ordering extra fries isn't everyone's jam.

Wait a minute. WCW were pretty much treating customers with disdain by late-2000, and they were replaced by a restaurant chain who made that their entire business plan. Hmm. Yep, that's poetic - WCW were a bunch of Dick's themselves by 2000.
