10 Things You Didn't Know About Wendi Richter

1. Currently An Occupational Therapist

Now residing in Citrus County, Florida, Wendi can be found these days doing pretty much the opposite of what a professional wrestler does: she's an occupational therapist.

Talking with Bill Apter at Wrestlefest in 2011, she told him that she'd been in the field since 2000. She was in good spirits and seemed happy about her current career path.

"I spent probably 20-25 years putting people in the hospital, so I wanted to help them get out and stay out of the hospital. So I'm giving back to the community and I feel really good about that."

Apter also asked the WWE Hall Of Famer if she watched any of the current product and she admitted to not being too keen on it. She thought of modern female wrestlers more as eye candy than grapplers but understood that sex sells.

"Not everyone can have the total package," she jokingly said, referring to herself.

She would memorably appear on Raw during the 2012 buildup to the 1,000th episode alongside Cyndi Lauper, ending her relationship with WWE (so far) on a positive note.
