10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE Champion Dean Ambrose

5. He's Anti-Social

Ambrose is not a man likely to retweet your fawning praise on Twitter - because unlike the majority of wrestlers in this day and age, he doesn't use it.

His reasons are twofold. He is primarily resistant to it because, as he told The Reminder in 2014, he wants to preserve the mystery surrounding his character, and instead let fans build up their own mythology around him. This approach makes sense, especially for a character such as his. Ambrose is meant to be an out-of-time vagabond, surviving and thriving on skid row. It would ruin the illusion entirely to imagine him tapping away absent-mindedly on his smartphone. It's no coincidence that it's easier to buy into his character than say, Luke Harper's, who has an astonishing mastery of 21st century technology for a backwoods hick.

Ambrose is also wary of what he himself refers to as 'weirdos'; speaking to The Sun in 2015, he professed that he likes to keep himself closed off from the world because there's a 'lot of weird stuff' out there.

To date, he has posted just three tweets, all of which were posted years ago.
