10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE Elimination Chamber

7. Chris Jericho: Elimination Chamber MVP

Triple H Elimination Chamber
WWE

Chris Jericho and Randy Orton hold the record number of appearances in the Elimination Chamber at eight apiece, but the former 'Y2J' also holds the record for eliminating the most number of people overall, too. Jericho has taken out ten other WWE Superstars in those eight appearances, although he's only actually won once, pinning the Undertaker to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber 2010.

Something people don't remember is that Jericho was the first person to be thrown through the supposedly bulletproof glass - in fact, he was thrown through it in the first two Chamber matches. But it’s clear why Chris Jericho still holds the record for most appearances despite not working for the company since 2017, just as it’s clear why Jericho regularly took the "iron man" role in the Royal Rumble. Typically one of the most dependable ring generals on the roster, Jericho was always trusted implicitly to perform at a high level in whatever capacity he was asked to. Injury and mistimed spots can blow the complicated layout of matches like the Chamber, requiring someone to be in there who can work on the fly and drag the match back into the shape it’s supposed to have.

There have been few men in the WWE who have ever pulled that off better than the former AEW Champion.
