4. Most Unique Wrestlemania In History
Before the 2000 iteration of the event, there had never been another Wrestlemania like it, and it's possible there will never be another 'Mania like the 16th version. Back in 2000, even though it was a big deal, Wrestlemania didn't have the incredible pull that it does now, where even lapsed fans return for one night only. Going further, Wrestlemania wasn't yet solely taking place in giant, outdoor stadiums, but even with the more modest setting of the Arrowhead Pond Arena in Anaheim, California, Wrestlemania 2000 was the most unique 'Mania in history. Looking back to some of the most memorable matches in the event's history - Andre The Giant vs. Hulk Hogan, Warrior vs. Hogan, Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker - fans will notice that most top-notch main events in Wrestlemania folklore have been one-on-one. At Wrestlemania in 2000, not one singles match took place between male competitors, making it entirely unique. Every single encounter was a multi-man affair, with the only one-on-one match on the card taking place between Terri Runnels and The Kat, in a Catfight.
