10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2007

7. Randy Orton Kicked Off European Tour For Out-Of-Control Behaviour

WWE really shouldn't have been surprised when Randy Orton caused a major disturbance during the company's post-WrestleMania tour of Europe. Orton had been a constant headache for management over the years, known for his petulant and destructive behaviour. Originally it was reported that Orton had been sent home from the tour because of damage he had caused to a hotel room in Germany, but it turned out that the hotel room damage was Orton's reaction to being sent home. Orton caused around $30,000 worth of damage to the room, which he had to pay for himself. Apparently Orton was out-of-control and unfit to perform for much of the tour and WWE decided it would just be easier to send him back to the states. Obviously this didn't sit well with Randy, who decided to have a fight with his accommodation in retaliation. WWE were short on stars and couldn't punish Orton for long. He was back working main events a few weeks later and headlined SummerSlam against John Cena in August.
