9. Bo Dallas Breaks A Royal Rumble Record

Sticking with the first major card of the year, there was more unique trivia to be found in the middle of the match when the relatively unknown NXT star Bo Dallas entered the fray at #16.

Dallas had won the opportunity that weekend, competing in a battle royal alongside the likes of Luke Harper and Adam Rose to earn a spot in the match and with it a chance to headline WrestleMania.

He didn't manage that obviously, but entering at all ensured he'd lay claim to something nobody else can ever challenge him for - his age.

At just 22-years old at the time, Dallas became the first person to enter a Royal Rumble that was born after the inaugural edition of the show in 1988. The company's youth movement - via its newest developmental - was finally bearing fruit.

It was obviously later replicated and enough time has nearly passed that the majority of entrants in any given Rumble will likely fall into this age bracket, but the future NXT Champion was the very first.
