10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2014

9. The Real Identity Of Adam Rose's Bunny

WWE never went as far as ripping the head clean off Adam Rose's bunny in 2014, but the character's ability in the ring had many speculating that NXT's top babyface (and soon-to-be Champion) Sami Zayn was in fact the literal party animal alongside another former black-and-gold favourite.

And once, at least, said speculation may have been correct.

A number of different extras and trainees donned the attire, but former Nexus and Corre man Justin Gabriel was in fact the one to take the role on permanently when a competitive rivalry (!) developed between Rose and his chief Rosebud. And according to comments he made on Chris Jericho's podcast, it wasn't just a comedy role to him.

Noting his shock at the creative indifference to the bit, he alluded to providing sketches of how the bunny could be made evil, but it all went nowhere. Unlike Gabriel himself - the New Zealand aerialist was granted his release shortly before the 2015 Royal Rumble.
