...didn't really give Divas a chance.

Paige and Nikki Bella went less than four minutes in a Divas Title match that ended with a screwy finish when Brie attacked Paige.

It was - in generous defence of the booking - screwy in service of the eventual return of AJ Lee to side with 'The Anti-Diva' against the pair at WrestleMania, but was a long, long way away from the sort of productive response to WWE's triangulated Twitter response that's since become the lore of all this.

Nikki Bella in particular was showing signs of significant improvement as an in-ring force too, her stunted growth mirroring that of Trish Stratus' a decade prior when she too could barely steal five minutes on two and three hour shows.

The bigger picture wouldn't show itself until July's arrival of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, but the awkward shoehorning in of all the women into trios missed the point again, and marginalised the skillsets of the individuals for months afterwards.
