10 Things You Didn't Know About WWE In 2016
9. Bray Wyatt's Abandoned Babyface Turn
The April 11th 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw looked fairly familiar when Roman Reigns arrived to talk about being "The Guy" in front of an audience that received him as neither a good nor bad one.
As it did when The League Of Nations interrupted, moaning on about not being made Number One contenders. A welcome surprise came minutes later when The Wyatt Family were booked not only saved Reigns from a three-on-one but to team up with him in the main event.
The match itself was a surprise hit - 'The Eater Of Worlds' very clearly enjoyed getting to perform on the other side of the divide in a gimmick that had been browbeaten by one too many burials, and a deep-rooted history between Wyatt and Reigns specifically informed the odd chemistry they had as strange bedfellows.
It wasn't to last.
Wyatt was just another to get bitten by the early-2019 injury bug, and he was villainous again by the time he returned. It'd be a while before he was even on the same show as 'The Big Dog' again, and he fell so hard so fast during the latter chapters of his story with Randy Orton that a feud between of them would have been laughed off the set.
