10 Things You Didn't Know About Zeb Colter

Learn more about this Real American.

When Jack Swagger looks back on his career he will remember fondly the summer of 2014 when he became an unlikely American hero. Backed by his generously-mustachioed manager Zeb Colter, the once heel Real Americans battled the evil foreigner Rusev as they won over audiences across their county. Swagger's time in the spotlight has definitely waned since, partly due to the absence of his manager Zeb. In a recent interview with MTV UK, Jack Swagger revealed that Colter will be imminently returning. "He's going to be back very soon, saluting 'We The People' more than ever." While the current WWE audience knows Zeb as a highly outspoken manager, his career spans all the way back to the 1970's. In addition to managing he's also wrestled and booked and has been instrumental in molding some of the biggest stars the wrestling business has ever seen. Zeb has battled Jerry Lawler in his prime and given advice to an impressionable Steve Austin early in his career. The man has been highly valuable to the wrestling landscape for decades. The following are 10 things that might not be known about Zeb Colter spanning across his four decade career. It is important to note that in most of this article he will be referred to as Dutch Mantell because that was his name for most of his tenure prior to his recent WWE run.
