10 Things You Didn't Know Were Banned In Triple H's WWE

8. Thumbtacks

Ronda Rousey, a very candid talker given that she's hardly going to get into trouble for it, also revealed that she wanted to use thumbtacks in her match with Liv Morgan.

Since it was terrible, perhaps they should have listened to her ideas.

Such a spot might have enhanced the match with a much-needed thread of suspense; as it was, the story of Ronda not requiring weapons was dropped after she abruptly started to beat Liv up with piss-weak bat shots. And, since the bat is synonymous with two major AEW stars, this renders the decision not to do the lego spot bizarre.

This was a less risky alternative pitch to the tacks spot, which she revealed was a "legal" impossibility, since weapons that puncture skin and draw blood are prohibited on that basis. This is strange; the point of Brock Lesnar's elbow is such a weapon, and Chris Jericho and Dean Ambrose worked a tacks spot some eight years deep into WWE's PG era.

Nonetheless, it is very much banned now, as, apparently, are weapon shots that actually look like they hurt.
