10 Things You Didn't Know Were Banned In Triple H's WWE

In a strange story one thousand stories ago, it was suggested (and hastily withdrawn) by Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men podcast, in and around the Vince McMahon scandals breaking (and him resigning in disgrace), that WWE were prepared to launch a new bid to become a TV-14 rated product.

30 minutes after the return of the Attitude Era was celebrated, a retraction followed, and the trail has since gone cold.

It was always a weird story: WWE is the market leader making the most money it has ever made and has only just convinced the advertising industry that it isn't some lurid, pig sh*t-thick embarrassment, watched by poor people, that might get it in bother. Why would WWE deviate from its most successful path?

Indeed, they haven't. The most fans will get, if they're into that sort of thing, is a few c*ck-based puns. Also, Drew McIntyre called Roman Reigns the 'Tribal Queef' a little while back.

What was that about taking the Vince out of WWE, but not the WWE?

They're tightening things up, if anything: whenever a "Holy sh*t!" chant breaks out, WWE mutes the sound and overlays some awful ThunderDome echo over the top of the scene.
