10 Things You Learn Binge Watching Every WWE Raw From 1993

1. Randy Savage Was Right To Leave

Yes, that is a picture of Randy Savage looking disgusted behind the announce desk as the Repo Man proudly taunts him by wearing his hat outside the Manhattan Center. No, this wasn't the kind of thing Randy should've settled for.

No wonder he left for WCW the next year.

During 1993, Savage had some of his worst feuds ever. He worked short programs with Repo Man, had a few interactions with Doink The Clown and then embarked on a sh*t show against real-life pal Crush. Being fair, Savage has to take the bulk of the blame for that one. He likely pitched working with his pal to McMahon.

There wasn't one moment from Randy's year that was good enough for his star power. The Repo feud, in particular, was a gross misuse of his talents, and it neutered his credibility by having him sit things out on commentary. Poor show, and it's not hard to see why he was frustrated.
