7. The Old MSG Setup Is Sorely Missed To This Day

Today, Madison Square Garden looks the same as everywhere else whenever WWE run events at the venue. One of the most iconic buildings in company history, MSG now looks like just another arena. There's the standard entrance ramp and general layout, something that once helped the Garden stand out from the rest of the arenas used by the company.

Rewind to WrestleMania X, and it becomes instantly gratifying to watch MSG's unique set up during the then-WWF's biggest event of the year. The entrance way comes out from underneath the bleachers, meaning fans are ridiculously close to each wrestler as they make their way to the ring.

Further, there's no ramp, and the ring is super-close to the entrance. There's something immediately nostalgic about seeing this again, and it makes one yearn for a return to that style. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why it looks so cool, but the original Madison Square Garden aesthetic really comes across as original and heartwarming.

Now, WWE can't boast such a unique atmosphere. Virtually every arena used ends up looking the same. When seeing MSG in this glory, that's a real shame.
