10 Things You Learn Re-Watching AEW Dynamite’s First Episode
6. It’s Amazing PAC Hasn’t Done More
Is PAC one of AEW's biggest missed opportunities? That's arguable, and it's hardly like the Geordie native has been roundly ignored by Tony Khan over the years. However, watching his match vs. Hangman Page on the debut Dynamite reveals something else: PAC could've been so much more in All Elite Wrestling.
He should've gone on to become a main eventer for years to come.
That hasn't happened. The ex-WWE man has had some cracking bouts vs. Kenny Omega, Page and in the Trios Title ranks next to the Lucha Bros, but he's never enjoyed sustained success at the top of the cards. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why not, or what went wrong that prevented PAC from ascending permanently.
His match vs. Page had pacing, incredible action when it mattered and even some story due to a pesky injury picked up during the war with Omega. That's something Excalibur honed in on via commentary, so it was obviously a plot point AEW wanted to get across.
