10 Things You Might Have Missed At WrestleMania 31
7. Lana Helped, Then Cost Rusev
At Fastlane, Rusev's victory over John Cena was set up by Lana's interference. One month later, it was the Ravishing Russian's insistence upon hopping on the ring apron that led directly to the finish of the United States Championship. This time, however, it ultimately cost her charge as Cena sent him crashing into his social ambassador, who was sent crashing to the floor below. It was a great bit of booking, as was the entire Cena-Rusev story, that called back on a previous spot and led to further tension and dissension between the heels. As Lana was the savior to Rusev's title reign in February, she was was his greatest detriment at WrestleMania. Where that leaves the duo in the months to come remains to be seen but based on the fact that the blonde bombshell was not by Rusev's side on Monday, it is very possible that the relationship could be on the outs.
