Clearly, this is a one off deal.

It's well known that Brock Lesnar is under contract to the WWE, a contract which reportedly runs until 2018. And it's not as if the WWE is about to let their biggest star leave town for a second time.

So Lesnar's return always looked like a one fight deal, and if it wasn't 100% clear immediately, the WWE made certain it was by releasing the following statement:

Brock Lesnar remains under contract to the WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200. Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, August 21, live on WWE Network.

Well, that should clarify that. It's interesting to see how quickly the WWE made sure to get Lesnar's return date into the mix.

If nothing else, it at least ensures viewers that yes, Lesnar will in fact be coming back to the WWE - and soon.
