10 Times Brock Lesnar Was Just Awesome
1. Entering The Royal Rumble At Number One
At the beginning of this article, I stated that no one is presented the way Lesnar is by the WWE. Never has that been more evident than at the start of 2020.
With seemingly no real challengers in the frame for his WWE Championship, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman confidently strode to the ring and announced that Brock Lesnar, in the hunt for competition, would be entering the Royal Rumble as the first entrant.
In a company where most heels are gutless cowards or sneaky bastards, having your heel champion willingly face the Rumble head-on was exceptional booking. The only thing more exceptional was Brock's performance.
As expected, Brock was completely dominant, eliminating the first thirteen entrants and tying the record that Braun Strowman set in Saudi Arabia (do we count that?) The highlights were him sprinting after Elias, eliminating all three of Big E, Kofi and Rey Mysterio and then who can forget when he laid eyes on Keith Lee for the first time? His 'Ooo Big Boy' was brilliant and Lesnar's entire performance was elite.
A star-making moment for Drew McIntyre, who levelled Lesnar with a Claymore to send him to the outside. He may not have won the match, but entering first and dominating for so long is easily the most awesome thing that The Beast has ever done.
The fact he went one step further and put McIntyre over at Mania is just the icing on the cake.
