7. Rey Mysterio's Other Child

Rey Mysterio, dad of the year. This occasion marked the first time that Rey's family were incorporated into WWE programming and this one's much more uncomfortable. They made a whole entire storyline out of this one, a story that's frequently voted as one of the most misguided of all time. Let's dive in! This feud, between Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, concerned the fathering of Rey Mysterio's young son Dominick. Eddie claimed to have been Dominick's biological father, revealing this in a bedtime story, intended for the young boy, read in front of a WWE crowd. By itself, that is really unnerving. Rey Mystery admitted that Eddie was the boy's father live on TV (the poor kid, the poor, poor kid) but refuted Eddie's wish to adopt the lad, culminating in, and this is all absolutely true, a Custody of Dominick Ladder Match. Custody papers were held in a briefcase high above the ring. Whoever climbed the ladder and retrieved the briefcase got to keep the human child. Lord have mercy. As the cherry on the cake, Dominick ended up interfering in the match itself. As Eddie was climbing the ladder, looking set to walk away with the victory (and the boy), Dominick jumped the guard rail, got into the ring and started shaking the ladder. Eddie slowly climbs down, reproaches him then goes to full on hit Dominick (!!!) before Mysterio can stop him. Sure, Rey won the match in the end, but ... But...
