8. CM Punk Sings Happy Birthday To Rey Mysterio's Daughter

The 12th of March is the birthday of Rey Mysterio's daughter Aalyah. Live on Smackdown in 2010, she was turning 9, and in keeping with the WWE's well-documented hatred of 9 yr old girls, the company decided to try and traumatise her as much as they felt they could get away with. Rey Mysterio was leading a friendly crowd in a chorus of Happy Birthday for his daughter, when CM Punk and his cult, The Straight Edge Society, came out to interrupt the festivities. Punk, who was in full Charles Manson mode at this point in his career, then sang Happy Birthday to Rey Mysterio's terrified daughter (not once, but twice) and threatened to beat up her father right there in front of her, as she began to cry. https://youtu.be/eeAVVzZuTqo?t=212 A fantastic moment of heel bullying? Absolutely. Genuinely unsettling and uncomfortable? Absolutely. Fun fact: not only did this incident happy the same year as Angry Miz Girl, but CM Punk was awarded the Despicable Me Slammy for villainous behaviour at the exact same ceremony that Miz creeped everyone out by asking to see Cayley's Slammy. 2010 was a bad time to be a 9 year old female wrestling fan.
