10 Times DX Absolutely Buried Other Wrestlers

1. Jim Neidhart

It wasn't only Bret who DX lorded over post-Montreal. Others from The Hart Foundation days were given some rough treatment too, and that included Bret's old tag partner Jim Neidhart.

'The Anvil' was brought back briefly, tricked into thinking he was joining D-Generation X then coldly battered by Triple H and Shawn Michaels; bizarrely, DX spray painted 'WCW' on Neidhart's back following the attack. That gave Bret's new home some ill-advised publicity. Nobody on the WWE side thought that one through.

Again, much like The British Bulldog and Owen Hart, Neidhart's angle would've been salvageable with some follow up. Few will be surprised to learn there wasn't any. Jim was discarded shortly after the ambush and ended up joining Bret over in WCW for a while. This was DX's way of rubbing salt into some still-open wounds.

They were the top dogs and Bret's old Hart Foundation cronies were made to look foolish one by one. It was systematic destruction of a rival group.
