6. The Hart Brothers
The Hart family is one of the best in wrestling history, a breeding ground of some of the finest sports entertainers to ever lace boots. Two, Bret and Owen Hart, appeared to be loving brothers trying to make their way up the ladder in Vince McMahon's WWE, both forced to overcome size deficits in the land of giants. Bret accomplished that goal first, winning the World Title in 1992. As his celebrity and fame grew, Owen was pushed further into the shadows. Nothing he accomplished was good enough. At the 1993 Survivor Series, when he was the only one of his siblings eliminated from a huge tag team match, the jealousy that had been building in him boiled over. He lashed out at his brother and took to WWE's syndicated television shows to challenge him to a match. Bret refused and, over the holiday season, they appeared to mend fences. It was merely a Band-Aid on a compound fracture, however, as Owen again erupted in a fit of jealousy, attacking Bret following a controversial defeat at the hands of the Quebecers at the 1994 Royal Rumble. What could have been one of the most dominating duos in WWE fell apart thanks to one brother's jealousy of the other. They would reunite under the flag of Canada in 1997, comprising two-fifths of the reformed Hart Foundation. But it was after three years of bickering and fighting that nearly tore the entire family apart, all because of Owen's ego and undying desire to be better than his older brother.
