10 Times Hulk Hogan Was The Worst Babyface Ever

9. Scrapping TNA's Six-Sided Ring - Genesis 2010

As a babyface, one of the worst things that you can experience is when you do or say something yet find the crowd adamantly letting you know that they want the exact opposite. For Hulk Hogan, that's exactly what happened upon his arrival in TNA Wrestling.

Alongside Eric Bischoff, The Hulkster turned up in TNA in 2010 as an on-air authority figure. And one of the very first things this duo did was change TNA's wrestling ring from a six-sided environment to a more traditional four-sided setting.

We've heard countless wrestlers over the years talk about how the six-sided ring was awkward to work in and made bumps a lot stiffer to take, so there's clearly an argument to be made to scrap the six sides and revert back to four. Still, the rampant crowd in attendance for TNA Genesis in 2010 were completely and utterly against this change.

At Genesis, Hogan barely had chance to speak a word before he and Easy E had "We want six sides!" chants rained down upon them. And for a babyface - a freshly-arrived Hulk Hogan, nonetheless - to get booed out of the building for something like that, that sure indicates a disconnect with your paying audience.
