10 Times Hulk Hogan Was The Worst Babyface Ever

4. Stealing The Macho Man's Spotlight #2 - World War 3 1995

In the history books, it will read that Randy Savage won the first ever World War 3 match and his first WCW World Heavyweight Championship back at the first edition of the World War 3 PPV back in 1995. Yet the closing moments of that show and the following episodes of WCW TV were dominated by Hulk Hogan.

With both Savage and Hogan babyface acts at that point in their respective careers, the screwy finish of The Hulkster being falsely 'eliminated' by The Giant at World War 3 was clearly done to A) give Savage his first run as WCW Champ, and B) save face for one of their other top babyface stars, Hulk Hogan.

To his credit, Hogan was right to complain to referee Randy Anderson with his proclamations of never being legitimately eliminated from the 60-man over-the-top extravaganza - it was the way that Hulk complained that just stunk to high heaven of a whining, entitled brat.

As was painfully frequent over the years, this again saw Hogan taking the spotlight away from a crowning achievement of his long-time BFF-turned-enemy-turned-BFF Randy Savage. And these same protests continued on the TV that followed the PPV.

By the time all was said and done for these two Hall of Famers' time in WCW, Hogan amassed six WCW Title reigns over a combined total of 1,177 days, while Randy Savage had four runs with Big Gold over a far less impressive total of just 53 days - including two face-palming one-day reigns!
