https://youtu.be/tm7QL1v4zQc In the early days of Kane, they had to tell the story about how Kane had supernatural powers just like his storyline brother The Undertaker. On the Raw prior to WrestleMania 14 in 1998, Kane and Paul Bearer sent a message that was shocking just as it was memorable. They did a promo segment that showcased Kane's abilities to shoot lightning among other things. He scared the announcers and then the shot a spotlight with lightning. Jim Ross did over the top selling by saying he had unearthly powers. When the promo ended, Bearer encouraged Kane to show us one more thing. He told Kane to do what he wants to. Kane turned towards a technician that was at ringside, then shot lightning at him and the man was on fire. The man ran all the way up the ramp and there were guys on the ramp to put the fire out. It's not like Kane got arrested for intentionally burning a man. That's just the silliness of pro wrestling. Lighting a guy on fire on purpose? That's pretty heinous. That's just how Kane was especially in those early years of the character.
