During his second spell as a top liner in WWE, it seemed that Shawn Michaels was often out to set right his attitude from the first time he was on top. Perhaps realising that he didn't need wins quite as much as he probably used to, the 'Showstopper' wasn't afraid to stare at the lights for younger stars who were in more need of victories than he. Enter Randy Orton, who had risen up through the WWE system to become a genuine main event player. A tremendous athlete, Orton was tailor-made to put on a great match with someone possessing the poise and know-how of Shawn Michaels, something which became a reality at the Survivor Series Pay-Per-View in 2007. The stipulation heading in banned Michaels from using his patented 'Sweet Chin Music' finisher, but if the WWE Champion Orton had been disqualified, he would have lost the title. It was an interesting dynamic, one which didn't detract from the ability of both men to put on a cool bout. In the end, it was Randy Orton who got the win, proving that Shawn was a changed man.
