The events of 2000’s Bash at the Beach PPV are amongst the most controversial of WCW’s dying days.

Whether it was a work, a shoot or a worked shoot that went too far, Hogan’s public butting of heads with Vince Russo resulted in Hulk never making an appearance in WCW ever again.

Having spent the last six years trying to best Vince McMahon’s WWF and put them out of business, where would Hogan go now that he was involved in a lawsuit against WCW? A future in the wrestling business for the then-46-year-old Hulkster looked bleak.

Fortunately for Hogan, WCW would be soon out of business and Vince McMahon eventually put their problems behind them by bringing Hulk back in to his company in 2002, and Hogan would even get one final World Championship reign.
