Given the time and the right opponent, Seth Rollins can always deal out a reminder that he’s up there with the finest workers in the world. 2018’s February episode of Raw dedicated the entirety of its first hour to prove this with a seven man gauntlet match.

Proceedings begin with Rollins and Roman Reigns, and the two put on a clinic - top tier work from the reliable Rollins as well as the oft-underrated Big Dog, made to look as good as he ever has by a familiar opponent.

Reigns, riding a wave of momentum, gets the win, and then faces off with a fresh John Cena. These two have tremendous chemistry, and while their fight isn’t as good as the first chunk, again it’s terrific TV wrestling, with Reigns surprisingly getting another clean win.

Then, Elias comes in. He quickly picks off the knackered Rollins; he is in turn eliminated by the next entrant, and so forth.

The first hour and a bit of this match is up there with the finest ever seen on Raw. The rest of it is a trudge through some bog standard WWE work.
