It's somewhat well-known that 'Taker hit his physical prime rather late in his career, pulling off incredible performances while being in the best shape of his life, but even that wasn't enough to prepare us all for the epic battle that we witnessed when the veteran stepped into his first Tables, Ladders and Chairs match in 2008.

Edge was a TLC specialist and had single-handedly given us some of the greatest moments in Ladder Match history, so we knew he would thrive in this match. Even though 'The Phenom' had seen it all at this point in his career, in this environment he was the rookie and Edge was the master.

Somehow, someway, a 43-year-old Undertaker stepped into that environment and absolutely bloody nailed it. Not only did he dominate much of the match, coming up with innovative ways of using the ladder and the tables, but he hung with the much-younger Edge in what is perhaps the pair's most underappreciated clash from their fantastic '08 series. And he even took one of the most cringe-worthy table spots in WWE history - and he took it like the pro that he is.

A fantastic performance on all counts, it was strange seeing 'Taker out of his comfort zone so late in his career - and he thrived in spite of that.
