10 Times The Undertaker Sucked At WWE SummerSlam
SummerSlam hasn't always been all that kind to The Deadman...
At SummerSlam 2015, The Undertaker will collide with Brock Lesnar in the main event. Already, fans around the world are excited to see the longest running character in WWE history wrestle at the event, because 'Taker hasn't really been around outside of WrestleMania for years. There have been sporadic appearances, but it's sobering to think that the match against Lesnar will be Undertaker's first at SummerSlam since 2008. On that night, The Undertaker defeated Edge inside Hell In A Cell, but that was the last time fans could see the man at one of WWE's biggest annual events. Before then, Undertaker had amassed the most consecutive SummerSlam appearances, working bouts every year from 1992-2005. Then, after missing the 2006 and 2007 shows, he returned in 2008 for the aforementioned cell scrap with the 'Rated-R Superstar'. Even though the man has notched up 15 SummerSlam appearances, The Undertaker hasn't always had the most success at the event. Losses haven't really been the main issue, it's simply true that Undertaker's record on the Pay-Per-View doesn't make for great reading, at least not in terms of match quality. There's just something about The Undertaker and SummerSlam that don't go well together, more often than not. This article explores why that is, and looks at 10 matches The Undertaker has been involved in at SummerSlam that sucked.
