10 Times The Undertaker Sucked At WWE SummerSlam

2. The Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzalez (1993)

Traditionally, Vince McMahon has always seemed to enjoy putting The Undertaker up against 'monster' heels. Another is to come in this article, but one of Undertaker's most infamous SummerSlam opponents was the Giant Gonzalez. An awkward big man, Gonzalez couldn't really do much other than lumbering strikes, and the series of matches between the pair in '93 was intolerable. First meeting during the 1993 Royal Rumble match, Gonzalez eliminated The Undertaker. From there, they had a dull encounter at WrestleMania IX. Many fans were hoping that WWF officials would declare that enough was enough, but there was one more major PPV clash coming. At SummerSlam, Undertaker finally put the giant man to rest. The match was fittingly dubbed a 'Rest In Peace' affair, which basically meant there was no disqualification. The main squeals of delight after the bout seemed to be more due to fan recognition that the feud was over. In fairness to The Undertaker, he did the best he could with the clumsy giant.
