10 Times The Undertaker's Ego Ran Wild In WWE

8. Punk'd

Undertaker Suit
WWE.com

The Undertaker was never one to wear a suit. To helpfully underscore this point, WWE.com once ran a novelty photoshopped photo gallery, in which 'Taker is featured, entitled 'Superstars You Never Thought You'd See In A Suit'.

Which asks the question: Why, in 2009, did he advise CM Punk, newly-minted World Heavyweight Champion, to don a suit in public? Punk was similarly mystified, and used the example of one John Cena to back up his point. Cena was so attached to his colourful merch that he presumably wore it to funerals. 'Taker - who, again, was never one to wear a suit - bristled at this perfectly sound argument, purportedly informing higher-ups of Punk's gall in the face of such veteran advice. What happened next was truly astonishing; Punk, made as a new headline act in an era in which there were so few, tumbled from the main event - after a 10 minute kicking at 'Taker's hands at Hell In A Cell - to a position below even the undercard. At TLC, he wrestled R-Truth in a dark match - and lost.

Booted, not suited.
