Is there a more consummate 2000z wrestling name than 'Kronik'? A misspelled weed reference is about as nu-metal as it gets. The bleakly on-the-nose moniker soon turned drastically ironic, for the match between the tandem and the Brothers Of Destruction, at Unforgiven 2001, was chronically awful. But at least it was absolutely hilarious.

Bryan Clark threw karate kicks with the credibility of Mac from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Brian Adams sold virtually every move a good three seconds before it was struck. At least he sort of knew where he was; Clark, having lost his black belt, lost his marbles altogether. At the finish, he was meant to take 'Taker's Chokeslam - but was in the complete opposite direction. Even Paul Heyman, their advocate on commentary, implored him to "turn around!" The sheer lack of professionalism was catching.

Basically, in 2001, the WWF had their pick of the western wrestling world - and they chose the worst tag team on the planet, purely because 'Taker was pals with them. He stuck his neck out - especially since Brian 'Crush' Adam left the WWF in late 1997 after Kane's botchy behaviour acted as the final straw - and he just as quickly sent them down the river.

'Taker also convinced the WWF to hire Brian Lee on two separate occasions. Was he mates with anybody good?
