10 Times TNA Blatantly Ripped Off WWE

7. Austin Aries And Bobby Roode Rip Off Team Hell No!

Ookop Hey another Kane rip off, although thankfully this one is not so blatant. Towards the end of 2012 going-nowhere heels Austin Aries and Bobby Roode formed a tag team and actually had some great chemistry together. They would win the TNA Tag Team titles in 2013 and become one of the best tag teams since Bad Influence. The problem? They didn't always get along. They were a dysfunctional tag team who would often have hilarious arguments what with both men having huge egos. Team Hell No WWE Now the dysfunctional tag team act is another staple of wrestling storytelling that can be used at any time in any generation. But it was very suspicious that TNA debuted this duo after Kane and Daniel Bryan had been doing the same act for months (and practically owning every show they appeared on) as Team Hell No! The two teams were different enough in appearance and style that we can give TNA a break and call this drawing inspiration from, rather than outright ripping off. But it still proves that TNA chose to emulate the WWE's hottest act at the time, rather than trying to create something new.

As a wrestling fan I've flown across the Atlantic for the last five years specifically to attend WrestleMania (28 and 30) as well as TNA, ROH, Evolve, Chikara and most recently PWG. I may have a problem! But if you're reading my work then you probably love wrestling too, so lets focus on that!
